What We Believe

OUR HISTORY
Friedens Evangelical Lutheran Church was built in 1907 in the South Bottoms neighborhood of Lincoln by German immigrants from Russia. To learn more about our congregation's rich history in this interesting neighborhood, click here.
OUR COMMUNITY
Located in the South Salt Creek Neighborhood of Lincoln, NE, Friedens is excited to be part of the revival of the neighborhood association and to see where the future takes us together!

LENTEN MID-WEEK SERVICES
On Wednesday evenings during the season of Lent we gather for a light supper beginning at 6:00pm. Youth Choir practices at 6:30pm. Supper is followed by worship at 7:00pm. Adult choir rehearses at 7:30pm.
